
PRESIDENT – Les Kosem
Les is a fourth year Monash University student studying Bachelors of Commerce and IT. Majoring in Econometrics and Business Information Systems. He has discovered a rewarding way to give back to the community, prompting his recent election as president. Les has been President of the Pied Pipers since July 2022.

VICE PRESIDENT – Paula Carbonell
Paula is a third year advertising student at Deakin University. She is a recipient of the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship for Excellence. Paula has always been passionate about helping others. In her spare time, Paula loves sport, particularly climbing and hiking, as well as triathlon. Paula has been Vice President since July 2022.

HON. TREASURER – Leila Shamsolahi
Leila is a fourth year Engineering and Commerce student at Monash University, majoring in Aerospace and Finance. She enjoys helping others and finds the Pied Pipers a rewarding cause which supports the Good Friday Appeal, providing resources and research towards sick children and their families. Leila has been Treasurer since July 2022.

HON. SECRETARY – Gerard Wilkinson
Gerard is a fourth-year engineering student at Monash University, majoring in Mechatronics and AI, also holding a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. He has always been involved in community minded action and enjoys giving back to those around him, such as acting as a mentor to VCE students from regional areas to help them aim and transition towards University, through the Access Monash Program. He has a passion for rewarding work in the volunteering space, and is honoured to be a part of the Pied Pipers. Gerard has been Secretary since July 2022.

COMMITTEE MEMBER – Heather Goodgame
Heather joined Pied Pipers in 1996 and has held the Executive Position of Social Secretary followed by Secretary which she held until 2022. On 21 June, 2011 Heather was made an Honorary Life Member of the Pied Pipers for outstanding devotion and service.
COMMITTEE MEMBER – Heidi Bakker
Heidi is a student, passionate about nursing, particularly ICU, cardiothoracics and oncology. Heidi is currently completing a Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University. In her spare time, Heidi is either working at St John of God as a Nursing Assistant/ PCA, going for walks on the beach with her friends, exploring the outdoors, rock climbing, canyoning or hiking and spending time with her family.
